RENÉ LEZARD at Fashion Week
On Wednesday, 3 July 2019, RENÉ LEZARD received selected guests for an exclusive breakfast at the Royal Garden Academy and presented the new RENÉ LEZARD Spring/Summer 2020 collection in a private atmosphere. The guests included friends of the brand, renowned buyers, influencers and VIPs such as Anna Hiltrop, Tanja Bülter, Katrin Wrobel and Jacky von Whaelse.
The New Sensuality
For the first time, the guests were able to take a look at the trends of the new collection in a fantastic location surrounded by exotic plants and flowers. The focus here was on womenswear inspired by the Japanese avant-garde of the 90s by the brand entitled “The New Sensuality”.
The new designer of RENÉ LEZARD Andreas Angerer used his passion for gardens and nature as inspiration for his first collection: “I try to capture both in my work. The world of plants stands out in my fabrics and their textures, whereas the classic design shapes my silhouettes”.
Classical elements such as precise blazers, men’s trousers and shift dresses meet softly flowing blouses, dresses and skirts. Signature Pieces are the overall as a feminine statement and dresses, often with asymmetric skirt hems.
The FS20 collection is characterised by a neutral colour palette and high-quality natural fabrics such as Egyptian full-twine cotton, silk and linen.
RENÉ LEZARD presents a harmonious combination of understatement and individuality, focusing on the wearer and a pleasant wearing comfort.
